Helpful information:

  • Each municipality has its own ByLaws , Regulations and Zoning requirements pertaining to what is required in order to grant the permit besides Ontario Building Code (OBC) requirements which are across the board for Ontario.
  • We are very familiar with each Municipalities or other regulatory authorities like Conservation Authorities and have always been successful to get approval for works we submit.
  • Every Municipality has a backlog of applications that they review – during Covid most cities have a 4-10 week backlog which is how long you should expect for your permit after the drawing and application packaged is submitted
  • If you are in the Region of Peel, we can help you qualify for a 20-30K interest free loan for renovations which is only partially payable back.
  • You will only pay the final amount once permit is received.
